Seniors delay care

The Mesothelioma Center surveyed seniors about seeking care. The survey reached more than 1,000 adults over 65 and asked how long they wait before visiting the doctor after noticing symptoms and the reasons why they wait. Many seniors (62%) delay care several days or don’t visit the doctor at all, and 61% said they prefer to wait for symptoms to disappear on their own, the survey found.

More results from The Mesothelioma Center survey are below.
